#94 - Holy Wars (The Punishment Due) - Megadeth - Rust in Peace (1990)
This is quite a good album, with a few great tracks on it, but the first song is my favorite. I particularly enjoy the accoustic guitar after the chorus. Good stuff.
Rust in peace was a really good album. I liked Marty and Nick in the band and I think that Dave M. and Dave E. were off the drugs at this time so the album was sharp.
This is my favourite Megadeth album, and always has been. 1990 brought the start of the rot for HM and I felt that Megadeth produced this as if to say "We're not going down without a fight"

Hey T-Bone. I'm digging your site and put a link to it on my mine.
I'm also running an Iron Maiden giveaway you might be interested in.

Thanks Thodore - I'll be sure to do the same!
Mark - I agree I think Megadeth hit full stride with this one.
Ben - Very true, I think this was one of the last great ones (with a couple of exceptions) for a long time.
This song is a classic. RIP is probably my favorite Megadeth record.
Unfortunatly, Dave ruined it on that horrible remaster he released. I don't know what he was thinking.
