Metallica is the biggest sell out of all time. I often wonder how they would be if Cliff Burton never died.
They also never really used Jason Newsted at all. The material he wrote while in Flotsam and Jetsam was great. Yet Metallica didn't even seem to plug in his amp until the black album and his hands were still tied after that.
