OK here it is. Why is a CEO who makes $13,750,000 per year considered greedy, yet a talk show host who makes 20 times ($275,000,000) that is loved and revered?
Well - I could easily argue that the CEO is doing his job by keeping the company profitable. After all, said talk show host does not have to charge $4.95 per issue of her magazine. She can easily take less money for her contract, therrfore leaving more money for others. She could employ more people, thus reducing her profits.
Really, I see no difference other than the $275 million vs. $13.75 million. If one is evil, both are evil. They both could take less and give more. They both don't.

I'm thinking that it might be because the beloved radio host isn't outsourcing and cutting jobs while taking the absurd amount of money.
