Interlude - Back to the Present

Here is a tentative list of my 10 favorite albums from 2005. If any of my readers have not heard these (not counting Junkyard Willie, because he is only a tr00 ice devil in spirit, not reality) I highly recommend all of them. Though, none are good enough to warrant the famous "Money Back Guarantee".

1. Moonsorrow - Verisäkeet
2. Slough Feg - Atavism
3. Masterplan - Aeronautics
4. Gamma Ray - Majestic
5. Opeth - Ghost Reveries
6. Candlemass – Candlemass
7. Brainstorm - Liquid Monster
8. Nevermore - This Godless Endeavor
9. Primordial - The Gathering Wilderness
10. Arcturus - Sideshow Symphonies

I'm afraid that I spend most of my time in the past. I did hear the new Gamma Ray though, but I was a little disappointed. I like the new Helloween a lot. I also bought the new Arch Enemy and was very letdown because I heard so much good about them. The best thing I heard this year was from a Brazilian power metal band called Hibria. It's a lot like a cross between Helloween and Gamma Ray, very cool album.

I have not heard the new Helloween yet, but I have heard good things. There are a couple of others I have not picked up yet either.

I too was disappointed with the new Arch Enemy. Anthems of Rebellion was better IMO.

Not that anyone will be reading these comments, but this list is really not accurate anymore.
