#9 - Metropolis, Pt. 1: The Miracle and the Sleeper - Dream Theater - Images and Words
What a great song, what a great album. Some songs are so hard to describe, and this is one of them. If you have not heard this one in a while, put it on, and you will be speechless.
Images and words was just a huge leap from the debut. Unfortunately they never came very close to this album again. Awake is strong, but the rest of the albums just don't have quite the same style and emotion.

This is definitely my #1 song.
I still think that both Awake and of course Scenes from a Memory are better albums.

Joerg - Awake is real good, but I like I&W best. SFAM never did it for me.
